The South East Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) is a regional organisation established in 1990 during the 78th FDI World Dental Congress in Singapore. It serves as a collaborative platform for dental education institutions across Southeast Asia, aiming to enhance the quality and standards of dental education in the region. SEAADE's primary objectives include promoting the advancement of education and research in dental institutions, fostering collaboration among dental educators, and establishing common standards in dental education. The association also facilitates the sharing of best practices and innovations in dental education through various initiatives and events. With over 60 member dental schools, SEAADE plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of dental education in Southeast Asia. It organises annual scientific meetings, workshops, and competitions to engage educators and students in meaningful discussions and collaborations.
