IFDH

The International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH) is a global, non-governmental, non‐partisan organization uniting dental hygienists, dental therapists, oral therapists and oral health therapists. Founded in 1986 (with roots back to the 1970s), it promotes leadership, collaboration, excellence in oral health education, research, and practice worldwide. IFDH’s vision is that these professionals are recognized as key providers of preventive oral care and that oral health is seen as an integral part of overall health.
